Our New Granddaughter!!

This is our beautiful new granddaughter,

Hallie Sage Nuttall!!

She was born February 12th.

Grandpa Smith with his 6th grandchild!



Hallie is healthy and strong and loved by many.

Morgan and Jackson are thrilled with their new baby sister. Morgan and Jackson got to stay with
Grandpa and Grandma Smith for a few days. We kept busy playing with play dough, coloring, reading and all the other things that you do with little children. It was fun seeing their excitement over baby Hallie. They were so happy to go home and see her.
Melissa and Brian are doing well and are adjusting to being parents of 3 children.
They will be busy but we know that they are great parents and can handle the challenges that come with a young family.

Every one was so excited to finally see Hallie. Carly and Kaylie went to the hospital the day she was born. Brittany and Steven saw her the next night. Brianna and Cameron came up on the weekend to see this cute new addition to our family.

The girls sat in this chair and then Jennifer would swing it around.
They had so much fun doing this and laughed and laughed.

The girls love peanut butter sandwiches.
Madeline especially loves honey bread like Winnie the Pooh.

Jennifer is such a great mom!
She is busy all day feeding the girls, changing diapers, reading and playing with them.
That alone takes up tons of time, not to mention cleaning, laundry,
cooking and everything else that needs to be done.
She is diligent about exercising and reading the scriptures.
She has amazing sewing skills among her many talents.
I am so very blessed to have this wonderful daughter and
was so grateful to have a week with her.

My Week In Idaho

I spent last week in Idaho with Jennifer and the girls while Jared had meetings in Washington D.C.
It was fun to be with them and get to see their cute personalities. The girls love to read so we read lots of books, played with playdough, blocks, toys and anythings else that was interesting to them.

Princess Madeline

Madeline knows her ABC's and loved to tell me "A" is for Apple, juicy as can be"
She could go through the whole alphabet and tell me something about each letter.
She is doing a great job going "potty" and is so proud of her self when she does.
She would come in and tell us "Madeline went potty".

Princess Aliza

Aliza is a cute little tease. She would take something from one of us and then run around laughing.
She is very cuddly and liked to read Strawberry Shortcake books.
She is talking quite a bit. Some of her words for the week were "Sit mommy ap (lap)"

Rachel is so sweet. She smiles a lot and is happy most of the time.
She likes to get up on her hands and knees and
looks like she will be crawling soon.
