Every Christmas Eve we have our Shepherds Night.
We dress in Biblical clothes, eat dinner and then act out the Nativity.
Our meal constists of falafels - pita bread filled with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers and falafels (ground chick peas)
We also have boiled eggs, dried apricots, dates, almonds, cheese, apples, oranges, olives and grape juice.
Cameron came to our rescue this year when we realized that one of our packages of pita bread wasn't good. He made us some bread (chipoti?) that he had learned to make in Zimbabwe. It tasted great and it will probably have to become a new tradition.
