We were excited to begin our journey to California.
Mick was the Session Director for EFY (Especially for Youth) in Santa Barbara.
It was a wonderful campus with perfect weather.
The group of youth were great and we had an amazing experience.
We love EFY and were so happy that Carly and Kaylie could come with us.

Las Vegas Nevada Temple
We stayed in Las Vegas Friday night.
Saturday morning before heading to California we went to the Las Vegas Nevada Temple to do Baptisms.
This was a very beautiful Temple and we had a wonderful experience.
We were happy we were able to go there.
We saw several other Temples but weren't able to go in them because they were closed.
We love seeing all of the Temple that dot the earth!
We stopped in Ventura to visit Mick's Aunt Barb, Uncle Dave and cousin Randy.We had a really nice visit with them and they treated us to a wonderful dinner at Marie Calendar's!

This is a great program that really does bless the lives of the youth, counselors, directors and all involved.
Our Friday night dinner had a western theme. 
Cowboys and Indians were on the table for decorations.
This little cowboy found his way to Mick's pocket and later danced the night away!

I should have given you guys Chris's mission home number, you could have stopped and said HI! He said he absoutly LOVES the Las Vegas Temple
HOw fun! I can't wait to go to the temple with my children when they are older. What a neat experience and wonderful memories!
